KY Clerk Refuses To Issue Gay Marriage License's. Should She Have Been Put In Jail?

You can't just say that law is against your religious beliefs. Anyone can make that argument about any law if they wanted to! I'm not sure who has jurisdiction here? A marriage license is issued by the state/county. The federal government says she has to issue licenses without being discriminatory. She hasn't violated that. She stopped issuing all marriage licenses. So does the county or state not have the right to simply not issue licenses? I guess not according to the federal government. The supreme court is using the 14th amendment to argue their case. It says in the 14th amendment that it is to be enforce by the Congress. So the federal level looks like they're reaching on this one.
