Key A). is the key that came with the car
Key B). Is one I bought at Ace Hardware (cost $80)
Key C). is a chip key I bought off Ebay. It was blank when I bought it
I had it cut.
Keys A+B start the car and I tried to program C myself. I followed the directions on inserting the 1st two working keys. The van never gave a chime on the 2nd key nor did the security light ever flash for me to program a 3rd key. I believe the problem is that: Key A has a clicker and key B does not. Because when I use key B, the clicker on A doesn't work anymore. I have to insert key A back in the ignition for the clicker to work again. I think I would be able to program C if either I had 2 A keys or 2 B keys. Not one of each. (Unless B is the 8th key to the car, I highly doubt that! But 8 keys is the max that can be programmed to the car). I posted this in case anyone else runs into this problem! Because the directions/owners manual said all I needed were 2 working keys. Well A + B are working keys and it still wouldn't let me program a 3rd.
